[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You probably won’t be surprised to learn that Facebook is the #1 social media platform used by businesses. In fact, according to eMarketer, 41% of US small businesses now use Facebook as part of their online marketing strategy. (
). All over the world, you will find the increasing use of Facebook for marketing.Lucubrate grows
We have now used Facebook for marketing two months. We have written posts, uploaded info about courses, our magazine, and brief videos. We have boosted some of the posts and videos. Boosting means we pay Facebook to be visible.
Facebook gives a good overview of how our activity is seen and reacted on. From the statistics, we can read that more than 100 000 people have been able to see the posts and videos we have posted the last week. Our wish is that some of those people will click on our link and find out more from our web (https://lucu.nkb.no/).
From the web statistics of Lucubrate, we can see that we now have around 200 visitors every day. That is a great increase from zero. We launched the Lucubrate webpages two months back.
Facebook Likes
Of course, we want our Facebook business Page to be successful. However, what success looks like on social media can vary. Our top focus is launching new courses, launching new issues of our magazine, building awareness, and subscribers. Today, we find the success in the Facebook Likes.
But no matter what, we need likes. A “Page Like” is how a user raises their hand and says they want to see updates from our business in their News Feed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
A Milestone
Lucubrate has got more than 300 “Page Likes” on the Facebook page. This is a measure of success.
Everyone can help us to follow up this success. We will grow more. Everyone can recommend our Lucubrate page to all Facebook friends. The numbers of “Lucubrate Page Likes” should be more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Why We Shouldn’t Buy Facebook Likes
If you need Page likes to master Facebook marketing, that brings up a good question: Why not just buy them?
It is possible to buy the Page Like. That may seem like a quick and easy way to make our business look credible. However, the issue lies in where these likes actually come from. Companies that sell likes use click farms, fake accounts, or even compromised accounts to reach the promised number. That means it’s highly unlikely that any of these users who have liked your Page will ever engage with your content again.
This means that Lucubrate doesn’t want to buy likes. We want real “Page Likes”. We prefer a connection with people on Facebook that really want to follow us and follow the development of Lucubrate.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
